Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Media Training tries to target marginalized youth and give them access to computer and media training that is otherwise inaccessible for most in both the public schools and within the community. This training especially appeals to young boys, but lately YDC-SL has experienced an increased interest among young girls and women in gaining ICT and media skills. This training will empower the youth on the job market, but will also motivate and build up their skills in advocacy and give a voice to the otherwise often voiceless youth. The ICT and Media programme takes six-seven months to complete. The ICT and Media Training programme has been a part of the YDC-SL project in Freetown Unit since 2010 and ICT programmes has been running in Kono Unit since 2009. Makeni Unit is currently working on\u00a0 ICT programmes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
